A Finger Points To Show A Scene.

Ultravox are set to release double disc editions of their classic albums Quartet and Monument next week.

Monument "was originally released as a six-track mini-album and a live VHS and the new CD/DVD edition features both releases, plus a fanclub-only release of 'The Voice' and three more bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased track. Quartet will be released as a 2-CD album featuring a remastered edition of the original album plus a bonus disc of thirteen live, remixed and rare tracks."

Quartet was the sixth Ultravox album, and the third with Midge Ure. The album was produced by George Martin and was "backed by Ultravox's huge Monument Tour, which itself was recorded and released in album format a year later in 1983."

Monument was recorded at London's Hammersmith Odeon. The re-issue is expanded, containing all of the songs from the original video. Generally, the "most appreciated performances" from Monument are "Reap The Wild Wind," "The Voice," and "Vienna."
