From the album Instincts, "A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)" was Romeo Void's only Top 40 single in the US, peaking at #35. Romeo Void formed in 1979 and disbanded in 1985. Lead singer Debora Iyall once claimed that "A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)" was an answer song to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."
Waist High still remembers the first time she heard this great song; a nubile 16 year old cruising through the streets of Arcadia, California, experiencing momentary bliss as she had somehow been given temporary control of the family's car radio.
